Jonathan holds a degree in Digital Media Arts from Full Sail University (1999). He worked for another agency in the Denver area, honing his skills, learning about SEO, and designing and updating websites before transferring to the account management department and ultimately sales. His passion for dentistry coupled with marketing led to the launch of his own marketing company 2010, later rebranded as Pro Impressions Marketing.
In 2020, he became a StoryBrand Certified Guide. StoryBrand (now known as Business Made Simple), promotes marketing techniques that help brands clarify their messages, thereby better growing their business. Jonathan now uses his new knowledge to help dentists clarify their message, stand out from their competitors, and get more patients.
In addition to writing countless articles on the Pro Impressions Marketing blog, Jonathan has written for myriad websites and publications like Ortho Tribune, Dental Sleep Practice magazine, and Inside Dentistry, including an article entitled, What Big Brands Can Teach Us About Dental Marketing. He was interviewed by the Academy of General Dentistry’s AGD Impact in March 2011 in their cover story Obstructive Sleep Apnea: The Dentist’s Role in Diagnosis and Treatment to help contribute his expertise in how dentists can market dental sleep treatment.
Jonathan enjoys teaching about dental marketing. He has lectured at LVI Global and Niche Practice Seminars.
In May 2020, Jonathan spoke at the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics virtual conference entitled From Teeth to Toes, speaking on marketing recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic, and again in 2022 with a talk entitled Removing Roadblocks to New Patient Growth.
In 2021, Jonathan launched Marketing Chairside, a podcast where he and other dental experts share marketing tips about dental websites, social media, search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and more.

Jonathan is thankful to be working at his dream job and to be able to help dentists succeed at their dream job at the same time. In addition to his daily duties as president of Pro Impressions Marketing, Jonathan is writing a marketing book and is working with Dr. Mchenry Lee as his writing partner on the upcoming patient education book entitled You Can Be TMD Free.
